Enforcement Guidance on Harassment in the Workplace

Today, the EEOC released an updated Enforcement Guidance on Harassment in the Workplace. This updated guidance consolidates and replaces five previous EEOC releases published between 1987 and 1999. While the comprehensive document is long, it helpfully includes a hyperlinked table of contents, so users can find specific guidance on targeted issues more quickly. This guidance exists as a helpful insight into how the EEOC views harassment in the modern workplace and is a useful resource for our employer clients. However, as always, if you have a specific issue related to workplace harassment which we here at McGill can help with, please let us know.
